Welcome to Nantong! The Exit-Entry Administration Division of Nantong Municipal Public Security Bureau kindly reminds you that during your stay and residence in Nantong, you are required to comply with the Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China and other relevant laws and regulations. Any violation may result in corresponding penalties. You are especially advised to be aware of and observe the following rules:
一、合理安排停居留时间
请关注您签证证件允许的停留期限，按期离境或在签证证件有效期届满前向公安机关出入境管理机构申请延期。
I. Properly Manage Your Stay and Residence Duration
Please pay close attention to the duration of stay permitted by your visa or document. You shall exit China before the visa expiry date or apply to the exit-entry administration authority of the public security organ for an extension before the current visa validity period expires.
二、遵守外国人住宿登记管理规定
外国人在旅馆住宿的，由旅馆为其办理住宿登记并向公安机关报送相关信息；外国人在旅馆以外的其他住所住宿的，应在入住后二十四小时内向公安机关办理登记。
II. Comply with Accommodation Registration Regulations for Foreigners
For foreigners staying in hotels, the hotel shall handle the accommodation registration and report the relevant information to the public security organ. For foreigners residing in accommodations other than hotels, you shall complete the registration with the public security organ within 24 hours after moving in.
三、禁止非法就业
外国人在中国不得从事与停留居留事由不相符的活动，按照规定取得工作许可和工作类居留证件后方可在工作许可限定范围内工作；任何单位和个人不得非法聘用外国人或介绍外国人非法就业。
III. Do Not Engage in Unlawful Employment
Foreigners in China shall not engage in activities inconsistent with the purpose of their stay or residence. You may only work within the scope specified in the work permit after obtaining both the work permit and the work-type residence permit in accordance with regulations. No entity or individual shall illegally employ foreigners or act as an intermediary for foreigners to obtain illegal employment.
四、按规定办理居留证件登记事项变更
外国人居留证件登记事项（如领取新护照、变更居留事由及地点等）发生变更的，应十日内向公安机关出入境管理机构申请办理变更。
IV. Apply for Changes to Registered Items of Residence Permits as Required
If any changes occur to the registered items of a foreigner's residence permit (e.g., obtaining a new passport, changes in the purpose or place of residence), an application for change shall be made to the exit-entry administration authority of the public security organ within ten days.
五、按规定办理外国人出生登记、死亡申报
在中国境内出生的外国婴儿，其父母或者代理人应当在六十日内到公安机关出入境管理机构为其办理停留或者居留登记；外国人在中国境内死亡的，其家属、监护人或者代理人，应向公安机关出入境管理机构申报注销外国人停留居留证件。
V. Complete Birth Registration and Death Declaration for Foreigners as Required
For a foreign infant born in China, the parents or their agent shall, within 60 days, apply to the exit-entry administration authority of the public security organ for stay or residence registration for the infant. If a foreigner dies in China, their family member, guardian, or agent shall report to the exit-entry administration authority of the public security organ to cancel the foreigner's stay or residence permit.
